The Law Firm Donà Viscardini was founded in 1974 by Wilma VISCARDINI who wanted to make available to businesses and individuals her expertise in the field of Community law developed over years in the European institutions. She was, in fact, an official of the European Commission for 14 years (1959-1973) and, in particular, a member of the Legal Service of the Commission in Brussels for nine years (1964-1973).

Also, attorney VISCARDINI, was for years a professor Community law at the University of Padua and is still active in the academic world and invited as a speaker at numerous conferences.

Subsequently, attorney VISCARDINI's has been joined in the practice by her children, attorney Gabriele DONÀ and attorney Simonetta DONÀ, both with extensive professional and academic experience.

Lawyer Gabriele DONÀ was professor of procedural law of the European Union at the University of Ferrara (2008-2013) and is regularly invited as a speaker at national and international conferences. In November 2014, in Krakow, he was elected Vice President of the Union of European Lawyers based in Luxembourg. This office was renewed in November 2016 in Luxembourg. On December 1 2018, in Lisbona, attorney Gabriele DONÀ has been elected President of the UAE.

Lawyer Simonetta DONÀ is a professor of commercial law, corporate and contracts law at Humboldt University in Berlin (since 2001).

Other partners and associates of the Firm also have extensive expertise in European and international Law, sometimes enriched with significant professional and academic experiences (in the Community Institutions and leading law Firms abroad).
